The http address doesn’t switch to https
Anyone who types the address without https, or follows an old link, gets the insecure version.
Add a permanent (301) redirect from http to https. Most hosts have a setting for it.

Different versions of the address show the site separately
Visitors end up at example.org and www.example.org and example.org and www.example.org. Search engines can treat them as duplicate sites and split your ranking.
Pick one main address and permanently redirect the others to it.
Browsers aren’t told to always use https. The Strict-Transport-Security header makes browsers skip the insecure version entirely. It’s a small setting on most hosts and CDNs.
