What we check
Renewals
When your domain and security certificate run out. A lapsed domain takes the site and your email down with it.
Security
https on every version of the address, files loaded insecurely, and out-of-date WordPress, jQuery or PHP.
Links and pages
Broken links and images, pages hidden from Google by mistake, and addresses that show the site twice.
Speed
How long the server takes to answer, how heavy the page is, and the images and video weighing it down.
What this check can’t tell you
Everything past the homepage
We check the page you enter and the links on it, up to 30. Other pages can have their own problems.
Certificate dates behind Cloudflare
We read the certificate your site serves. For sites behind Cloudflare we can’t, but Cloudflare issues and renews those itself.
