Did your old addresses survive the move?
Paste the addresses from your old site. We follow each one and show where it ends up, so you can fix the ones that break before visitors and search engines find them.
What we check
Dead ends
Old addresses that end on a missing page. Every one loses the visitors and search ranking that page had.
The kind of redirect
A 301 tells search engines the page has moved for good. A 302 says it’s temporary, so the old page keeps its place.
Detours
Chains of several redirects, loops, trips through http, and pages sent to the homepage instead of their match.
What this check can’t tell you
Sites that block automated checks
Some sites turn away anything that isn’t a person in a browser. We mark those addresses “needs a look” rather than broken. Open them in a browser to confirm.
Addresses you didn’t paste
We only check the list you give us. Your old sitemap, analytics or Search Console will show which pages had visitors.
Redirects done in JavaScript
We catch meta refreshes, but not a script that changes the page after it loads.
