What we check
SPF
TXT @Lists the servers allowed to send email as you. We check it exists, covers your mail host and stays under the 10-lookup limit.
DKIM
selector._domainkeySigns each message so receivers can tell it wasn’t changed. We look for keys under the names mail hosts and sending services use.
DMARC
TXT _dmarcTells receivers what to do with mail that fails SPF and DKIM, and sends you reports. We check the policy and where reports go.
Why it matters now
Since 2024, Gmail and Yahoo have required SPF, DKIM and DMARC from bulk senders, and Outlook.com followed in 2025. Mail that doesn’t pass is more likely to be junked or rejected, even from small senders.
